Where to start
Your Punta Cana Photoshoot
Book a photoshoot in Punta Cana with a local photographer and come home with professional photographs of the people you traveled with, the occasion you celebrated, and the time you spent here. HDC Photo offers photography for couples, families and life’s milestones, alongside wedding photography and videography.
Your session can take place on the beach, in a private setting, or at your resort where access allows. You do not need a location picked out or experience in front of a camera. Tell us what you have in mind, and we will help you choose a setting and guide you through the photographs.

Sessions in Punta Cana
Which photoshoot are you planning?
Start with the occasion that sounds most like yours. Each session page explains the experience in more detail, and if you are still deciding, you can ask us directly without choosing a category first. For filming, see our video options.
01
Couples photography
For a honeymoon, anniversary, or a trip together with no special occasion attached. A one-hour session is a popular choice for photographs of the two of you in one setting.
02
Family photography
Bring everyone into the photograph, including the person who usually holds the camera. Most families choose about an hour, with more time available for larger groups or a slower pace.
03
Maternity photography
Photographs of this stage of your pregnancy, on your own or with your partner and children. Sessions usually last around an hour, with a comfortable pace and time to pause.
04
Engagement photography
For couples who are already engaged and want photographs before the wedding. Whether you have just said yes or are visiting for your wedding week, this session gives you time together in front of the camera.
05
Proposal photography
For the moment you ask, with the photography planned discreetly beforehand. We photograph the proposal and the reactions that follow, then make time for portraits together.

06
Wedding photography
Photography built around your ceremony and celebration, with coverage chosen for the parts of the day you want documented.
07
Elopement photography
For couples exchanging vows privately or with a small group, with photographs of the ceremony and time together afterward.
08
Wedding videography
Keep the voices, movement and reactions of your wedding day in a film, with photo and video teams working to a coordinated plan.
Where we shoot
Where your photoshoot can take place
The right setting depends on the photos you want and how far you would like to travel. When you inquire, tell us which hotel or villa you are staying at so we can suggest suitable locations.
01
At your resort
A resort photoshoot keeps the experience close to your room, with beach, garden or architectural settings depending on the property. Outside-photographer policies vary, and permission, a day pass or a vendor fee may be required. We check the arrangements for your resort before confirming the location.
02
On the beach
A beach photoshoot gives you space for portraits, movement and wider views of the coast. Macao and Juanillo in Cap Cana are two possible settings, but the choice depends on access, conditions and the kind of photographs you want. We will suggest an appropriate meeting point rather than assume access through a hotel.
03
In a private setting
A villa, garden or private venue can suit a session where familiar surroundings or privacy matter. We confirm permission and practical access with you first. If you need transport to an off-resort location, we can help arrange it for an additional fee.
Photo and video
Working with a videographer in Punta Cana
A short video can capture a walk along the shore, a proposal and the reactions afterward, or the small moments between portraits. Movement and sound give those moments a different presence from a still photograph.
A videographer can work alongside your photographer during the same session, or film on their own. There are no fixed video packages, because the right coverage depends on what you want filmed and how long you want us there. Tell us the occasion and we will confirm the filming time, the length of the finished film, the delivery format and the expected delivery date before you book.

What to expect
How your session works
01
Choose coverage
For couples, family and maternity sessions, one hour is a common starting point. Two hours allows time for outfit changes, extra groupings or a second setting. Each session includes 25 to 100 edited photographs. Weddings, proposals and film are arranged separately.
02
Enjoy the session
We help with where to stand, what to do with your hands and how to move together. There is room for photographs looking at the camera, and for the conversations and small moments in between. You do not need to arrive with a list of poses or ideas.
03
Receive the photos
Couples, family and maternity photographs are professionally edited and delivered in a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads. Ask for the expected delivery date when you book, especially if the images are for an announcement or a particular date.
Planning
Timing, light and what to wear
Morning and late afternoon are usually the starting points for an outdoor session. A morning session can suit a quieter beach and an earlier start to the day, while the hour before sunset gives softer light without an early alarm. Sunrise involves different access and transport arrangements, so the best choice depends on your location as well as the season. We will suggest an actual meeting time for your dates.
Choose clothes you can walk, sit and move in comfortably. Lightweight fabrics work well in the heat, and colors that sit comfortably together are enough if several people are joining. If you are already on vacation, start with what you packed rather than feeling you need a new wardrobe.
Cost
What a photoshoot in Punta Cana costs
The cost depends on the coverage you choose: how long you want to spend taking photographs, who is joining, the number of edited images included, and whether you would like video as well. A straightforward session in one setting involves different arrangements from a larger group or a plan that moves between locations.
There are no photographer travel fees for sessions in the greater Punta Cana area. Client transport, resort access and any private-location charges are separate considerations, and we discuss those arrangements with you before booking. Your photography options include the editing and delivery details, so you can compare what you will receive as well as the time spent taking photographs.
Send your dates, where you are staying and the kind of session you have in mind. We usually reply within 24 hours with availability and package options, so you can choose the coverage that fits your plans.

Questions
Punta Cana photoshoot FAQ
Can we book a photoshoot after we arrive in Punta Cana?
Yes, you can inquire during your stay. We can often arrange sessions on short notice, although the available dates and times depend on our schedule. Send your resort and departure date so we can check what is possible while you are here.
What happens if it rains?
We check conditions around the session time and discuss a suitable change of time, setting or date if needed. Options depend on access and availability during your stay, so booking earlier in your trip gives us more room to adjust.
Can we photograph several families together?
Yes. Tell us the total number of people and whether you would like smaller family combinations as well as a photograph of everyone. That helps us recommend enough time and a practical location. Our family sessions page explains more about working with extended groups.
Can I book if I am traveling alone or with friends?
You can send us your plans even if none of the session labels fits. Tell us who is coming, the kind of photographs you want, and your travel dates. We will confirm whether we can accommodate the request and which coverage would suit it.
Can I request a specific delivery date?
Please mention it before booking. If the photographs are needed for invitations, an announcement or another deadline, we can check the available delivery options with you. Do not assume the finished photographs will be ready before you fly home unless that timing has been agreed.
Can we send an idea or reference photograph?
Yes. A few reference images can help explain the setting, mood or moments you like. They give us a starting point for the conversation, and we can discuss what will work with your location, the light and the time available.
