Send us your wedding date, venue, and any details you have in mind. We will confirm availability and send our packages within 24 hours. Ask questions by email or arrange a video call. Once you have chosen your coverage, a signed agreement and retainer secure your date.

We stay in touch as your plans develop, discussing the photographs that matter to you and how the coverage fits your schedule. Together, we work through timing, locations, and venue access so the photography arrangements are clear before you travel.

Enjoy your wedding
On the day, we work alongside your coordinator and vendors, following the celebration as it unfolds. We give clear direction for portraits and leave space for spontaneous moments, keeping the photography organized so you can spend time with the people you brought together.

Receive your photographs
Your photographs are professionally edited and delivered in an online gallery, typically within four weeks, ready for you to revisit the day and share with family and friends. If you would like them sooner, ask about our express option when booking, with delivery within one week.

Kukua offers the privacy of an independent beachfront venue while keeping the ceremony, portraits, cocktail hour, and reception close together. Its beach, garden, pool, and reception spaces give the finished gallery variety without requiring long transitions or taking the couple away from their guests.
Jellyfish Restaurant
Jellyfish combines a beachfront ceremony setting with one of Punta Cana's most recognizable open-air reception spaces. Because the celebration remains within one compact property, the photography can move naturally from preparations and the ceremony into portraits, dinner, and dancing.
Weddings at Bahia Principe Bávaro
Bahia Principe is a large resort complex rather than a single wedding venue, and the experience can vary depending on the hotel and locations selected. Familiarity with the property is especially valuable when getting-ready rooms, ceremony spaces, portrait locations, and receptions are spread across different areas of the resort.
Weddings at Iberostar Punta Cana
The Iberostar complex includes several hotels and a variety of settings for destination weddings. Having photographed at Iberostar for many years, we understand how to plan around the property's layout, beach conditions, guest movement, and the transitions between each part of the celebration.
Private villas in Puntacana Resort & Club and Cap Cana
Private villas in Puntacana Resort & Club and Cap Cana offer greater privacy and flexibility than a traditional resort wedding. Depending on the property, getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, dinner, and dancing may all take place within one private setting, although every villa requires its own plan for light, access, guest movement, and changing weather.
The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort
The St. Regis represents a more refined, highly produced side of destination weddings in Punta Cana. Its architecture, landscaped grounds, beachfront setting, and formal event spaces create opportunities for a polished gallery that feels distinct from both a traditional all-inclusive resort and an independent beach venue.

Outside photographer fees and resort access
Punta Cana resorts have different rules for outside photographers. Some allow them with advance approval or a vendor fee, while others do not permit outside photography teams at all. Any access charges are set by the resort and are separate from your HDC Photo package.

Do you offer videography along with photography?
Yes! Many of our couples opt to have both photography and videography for their wedding day. Having both ensures you capture timeless, still memories to display and revisit, while also preserving the emotion, movement, and sound of the day in a way no image can. Having a single, experienced team handle everything makes the day run smoother and ensures nothing gets missed. Additionally, we offer two types of videos: A journalistic video that offers a single lens perspective of the entire day, with a natural and authentic feel, and a cinematic video that uses multiple cameras to create a movie-like film, with dramatic transitions and emotional storytelling.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
The Rain in Punta Cana is usually short and passes fast. We build flexibility into the timeline, know each venue's covered options, and treat a passing rain as alternative lighting to give character and depth. If the schedule changes, we work closely with your planner or venue team to keep the photography moving without letting the rain take over the day.
Do you travel outside of Punta Cana for weddings?
Yes. We also regularly photograph weddings at Bayahibe, Samaná, Las Terrenas, Puerto Plata, Cabrera, Casa de Campo and La Romana, and we also travel to Jamaica and Mexico. How do we book HDC Photo for our wedding?

How much does a destination wedding in Punta Cana cost?

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Punta Cana?
Photography coverage in Punta Cana runs from $699 to $1,599, and combined photo and video packages from $1,149 to $2,499. Where you fall inside those ranges depends on the hours you book, whether one or two photographers cover the day, and the deliverables you choose. Tell us your date, your venue and the coverage you have in mind, and we will send the full package list by email within 24 hours.
How far in advance should we book our Punta Cana wedding photographer?
Most couples book their wedding photography 9 to 18 months in advance, with the busiest wedding months here running from March through July, which is not the same as the tourist high season. We recommend reaching out as soon as your date and venue are confirmed, although shorter-notice bookings may still be possible. Contact us with your wedding details, and we'll confirm availability.
Does our resort allow outside wedding photographers?
Policies vary by resort. Some allow outside photographers with advance approval or a vendor fee, while others do not permit outside photography teams at all. Reach out and let us know where you are staying, and we'll let you know whether we can photograph there and what access requirements may apply. Any fees should be confirmed directly with the resort.
When will we receive our wedding photographs?
Our standard delivery time for wedding photographs is 4 weeks. If you need them sooner, we also offer an Express Delivery option, which provides your fully edited wedding gallery within 7 days. Let us know when you inquire if you're interested in express delivery.
What time should we schedule our beach ceremony?
We generally recommend starting your ceremony about two hours before sunset. In Punta Cana, sunset can be as early as 6:00 p.m. in winter and as late as 7:10 p.m. in summer, so the ideal ceremony time changes throughout the year. This leaves enough light afterward for family, wedding-party, and couple portraits. Once we know your wedding date, venue, and ceremony length, we can recommend a more specific start time.
Can we meet you before the wedding day?
Yes, we are happy to schedule a video call to answer any questions you may have. Many couples pair the wedding with an engagement session earlier in the week, which doubles as a practice for the wedding day.
Beyond weddings in Punta Cana
