If you’re having your wedding at an all inclusive resort, then your reception party will end at around 10:30-11:00PM. This is because the resort will be hosting its own New Year’s main event after this time. In rare cases they’ll allow private events to have their own setup, but this requires reservation way in advance and special approval. We highly recommend working with a DJ for your wedding. Having someone that is able to read the room and set the right vibes all throughout is really the best way to go. Make sure you talk with them about what songs you absolutely must have and which ones you’d like to avoid. Organizing them by moments and not by genre will make it easier for your DJ to execute your vision. The most important thing is to trust your DJ, they’re working at weddings all the time, and they’re experts at getting guests to be in the right mood.
